A Tripartisan Rescue Mission for the Strategic Reinvention of America

CELEBRATING AMERICA’s 250thBIRTHDAY

America is at a crossroads.  It is time for all Americans to renew their Pledge of Allegiance!

Trust in government has collapsed.  Political and cultural warfare has replaced problem-solving. Too many leaders put party, ideology, personal ambition, or just a desperate need to hang on to their jobs, their business, ahead of the country. The Rule of Law and our code of moral values—the foundation of American freedom, prosperity, and opportunity—are at risk as never before.  

As we continue down this path, we are becoming more divided, less competitive, and less capable of meeting the challenges of today and of the future. 

The solution is not more partisan warfare. The solution is restoring the principles that made America strong: the Rule of Law, honesty, integrity, accountability, equal opportunity, and equal justice for all. The solution is choosing to strategically reinvent America, to really repair what has not worked, to really work to make America a better place.  We have all the resources and imagination necessary to succeed. The question is, can we, will we, muster the will? 

That is why we have created the GUARDIANS OF DEMOCRACY, to help us muster the will.

OUR MISSION
 

Guardians is different than most think tanks and policy organizations, most of which are valiantly fighting important tactical skirmishes on many issues. We intend to build a strategic unified, national vision, to paint a picture of how we can reinvent America and reclaim the American Dream, to enable voters to actually see and believe that America can improve for all of us.

The Guardians of Democracy seek to help build an “America 2.0” that is stronger, more unified, and better prepared for the challenges of the 21st century. 

Our mission is to develop and promote practical, tripartisan government reforms and policy solutions supported by a coalition from all parties who believe in the Rule of Law, democratic governance, and the common good; a tripartisan coalition which understands that compromise is essential to keep our country moving as we fine tune the way forward.   

We believe that what the American people need and want is not divisiveness, distrust and gamesmanship.  Americas need and want a unified coalition of leaders who have a practical, achievable vision of HOW to better the lives of every American. 

As a famous Chinese general reportedly said thousands of years ago: “Tactics without strategy is the slowest road to victory. Strategy without tactics is the noise before defeat.” 

HOW WE WILL SUCCEED

GUARDIANS will assemble a coalition of respected leaders, thinkers, innovators, and communicators who can inspire public engagement, develop practical solutions, and build support across political lines. Through research, education, public outreach, and strategic communications, we will help create a renewed American consensus. Guardians will:

Build a National Movement. Create a unifying national narrative that emphasizes shared American values and the power of working together across political divisions.

Develop a Modern Marshall Plan. Publish a practical roadmap before the 2028 election that addresses America’s most important challenges and proposes solutions based on effectiveness rather than ideology.

Advance Government Reform. Establish an ongoing commission that recommends reforms to improve government performance, accountability, and public trust while identifying emerging national challenges and opportunities.

FUNDING

Guardians seek: $5–$10 millionduring 2026–2027 to build staff, develop messaging, conduct research, and establish organizational infrastructure. Ultimately, $25–$50  million through 2028 to complete the  Marshall Plan, publish national forecasts, expand public engagement efforts, and support nationwide communications initiatives.

AN INVITATION  

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we have an opportunity not just to begin a new chapter, but to write a new book. We have a chance to become, not a Republican America, not a Democratic America, but an American America; a nation where the playing field is level, where we all play by the same rules, and where no one is above the law. 

We invite every American to embrace this vision and to join us, committed to working together. America cannot be reinvented by one man, one organization. We need a robust group of recognized leaders from every industry, ideology and persuasion to find common ground and fund and craft our way forward for the common good.
